Security sources informed on Wednesday that the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Haider Abadi has agreed to form a joint operations room with the participation of Peshmerga forces in the province of Kirkuk.
The sources pointed out that the decision was issued after the decline of security in the perimeter and inside Kirkuk, and increased armed attacks to organize a call on the security forces.
For his part, Information Officer in the Ministry of Peshmerga Brigadier General Halkord Hikmat, commenting on the news, that "were not informed in the formation of an operating room in Kirkuk with the participation of Peshmerga forces."
