The General Directorate of Nationality announced on Thursday the suspension of the work of the Sheikh Saad district as of Monday.
"The work of the Sheikh Saad district in Wasit province will be suspended on Monday, March 12," the director of nationality, Maj. Gen. Mahdi Ne'ma al-Waeli, said in a statement.
Waeli said that "this came with the aim of issuing the national card for citizens," adding that "the seizure will be through the website . "
