US Ambassador to Iraq Douglas Seelman on Wednesday reiterated his country's support for the participation of all components and parties in the political process.
"The Iraqis are now facing a new stage to determine their political future through elections on May 12, which is the only guarantee for the success of the process of political stability in Iraq," Sulliman said in a press statement.
Salimian's remarks come at a time when Kurds are discussing the issue of withdrawing from the political process and boycotting Iraqi elections because of what they see as a violation of their constitutional rights in the budget law.
