The start of the presidential elections in Egypt ... and Sisi is the favorite
Egyptian voters began voting on Monday in a presidential election on which President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is widely expected to win a second four-year term.
The television showed footage of Sisi appearing in a polling station in Heliopolis in the first minute after polling stations opened.
Sisi competes in this election Moussa Mustafa Musa, head of the Ghad Party, who submitted his papers in the last hour before closing the door to run.
Voters in Egypt vote in more than 13 thousand sub-committees nationwide on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, like the vote of Egyptians abroad last week, which lasted three days as well.
According to the National Electoral Commission that about 59 million eligible to vote in these elections.
