The deputy of the province of Babil Ali Alaq, on Wednesday, some candidates for the next session to buy votes for the money in the province, pointing out that some candidates bought the votes of "50 thousand" dinars only.
"Some candidates for the upcoming elections in the province of Babylon have bought votes for the amounts of up to 50 thousand dinars," he said, noting that "the phenomenon of electoral fraud and the purchase of votes increased in most provinces with the near date of parliamentary elections" .
He added that "the Commission has the responsibility to monitor the purchase of electoral receivables to reduce the phenomenon of electoral fraud," while calling for "the need to prevent candidates who violate the rules of the Electoral Commission to run in the next election race."
The leader of the Alliance of Iraqi National Forces Hussein al-Zubaidi had confirmed, earlier, the existence of the purchase of voter cards in Diyala by former and current deputies.
