100 researchers participate in a conference on renewable energy

University President Dr. Munir Humaid Al-Saadi told Al-Sabah: "An important conference held by the Faculty of Science is the sixth on the smart applications of renewable energy and investment opportunities in Iraq with the participation of more than 100 researchers from different universities and ministries." The conference included the agreement with an international publishing house Research, dissemination and utilization of scientific applications. He explained that the renewable energy and its applications represent one of the important axes that the world has taken quickly. He pointed out that the conference dealt with several axes, namely nanomaterials, technologies, technology, programming and photovoltaic catalysts used in renewable energy applications, in addition to hydrogen biofuels, wave energy, chemistry, solar energy, wind, energy. Al-Saadi added that the aim of the conference is to discuss the most important challenges facing the renewable energy in Iraq and the world and to stand at its sources and opportunities to expand it by highlighting the environment friendly energy and its consumption and clean technology and the most important scientific and research developments and international experiences in the energy sector in order to crystallize a development vision and activate its applications. On the ground according to the need of the country, especially with the causes of environmental pollution in Iraq, which is produced by unclean energy sources. The university's media director, Ahmed Abu Khalif, told Al-Sabah: "The Faculty of Engineering held its second international scientific conference for engineering sciences with the participation of 240 researchers from inside and outside the country to promote scientific research, promote innovation and contribute to solving the problems facing society. The latest modern engineering researches and the discovery of new scientific discoveries and the knowledge of the researchers' experiences and the opportunities of scientific and research communication among them, as well as dealing with the latest researches and recycling of building materials and recycling agricultural waste for a sustainable environment.
