[ltr]The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Youssef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimen, on Sunday, the organization's quest to hold a conference, "Mecca 2" to support Iraq.[/ltr]
[ltr]Al-Othaimeen said in a speech during the Arab summit in Dhahran, which was read by Mawazine News, that "the countries of the Organization share the aspirations and the pains of the Arabs."[/ltr]
[ltr]Addressing the Arab leaders that "the darkness surrounding the Islamic world does not concern you to keep up with the requirements of the times, and stand with the aspirations of your people, stressing" the support of the Palestinian people according to the Arab peace initiative and relevant UN resolutions.[/ltr]
[ltr]Turning to the Muslims of the Rohingya, and in Afghanistan, to bring peace to these countries, he stressed that these challenges should not distract the Arab leaders from their main task, which is to achieve development in the Arab countries.[/ltr]
