(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Syrian President Bashar al-Assad commented on the air strikes carried out by Iraqi aircraft on sites calling within Syrian territory.
A statement issued by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry received the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it, that Assad praised during the receipt of the credentials of Ambassador of Iraq in Damascus, (Saad Mohammad Reza) in the presence of Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem and Minister of the Presidency Mansour Azzam, "security cooperation between the two countries, Strikes against terrorist positions inside Syrian territory. "
He called on Assad to "strengthen economic relations between Iraq and Syria because of their positive impact in the continuation of relations between peoples."
For his part, Ambassador Rida conveyed the greetings of President Fuad Masum, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari to Assad, pointing out that the presence of an ambassador to Damascus in Baghdad will contribute to enhancing relations and cooperation between the two countries, especially in the security and economic fields.
The joint operations command announced on May 25 that the Iraqi F-16 aircraft launched air strikes targeting a site to lead the terrorist gangs and another site is a headquarters and a warehouse of missiles in which there are a number of terrorist elements in the hybrid area within the Syrian territory and
