Abadi arrived in Baquba on Monday to discuss security and services with local government and security leaders. In a statement issued by his office, al-Sabah received a copy of the statement that "the prime minister stressed during his meeting with security leaders at Diyala operations headquarters the importance of conducting accurate and continuous operations against gangs of kidnapping and crime and dealing with them firmly and forcefully and destroying their hideouts and not giving them any chance to survive. The statement added that "Abadi briefed in detail the situation in the field and security of the province of Diyala and the tasks carried out by various formations in the province, and facilitated the voluntary return of displaced people in the province to their areas." The commander-in-chief of the armed forces doubled the intelligence effort and continued prosecution of terrorist cells and organized crime syndicates, and carried out pre-emptive operations in various Diyala province districts, enhancing security and stability in the province, he also praised the ability and efficiency of our security forces in the war and peace phases. Abadi also held a meeting in the governorate headquarters in the presence of the governor and the President and members of the Council. The meeting discussed the needs of citizens in the districts and areas of the province and its security and service, ways to enhance the stability of the province and provide services to citizens and the necessary allocations for projects of services and reconstruction and job creation. During the extended meeting with the district directors in the province, the prime minister said, "The proper management and direction of the state's resources provide better services despite the challenges and lack of resources." The citizen in the war is patient and patient, We must listen to the legitimate demands of our people and respond to them. " The Prime Minister called for "cooperation with the private sector as a key partner in the performance and economic output of the country." He stressed that "the benefits of the peace phase are different, foremost of which is to provide a safe environment for reconstruction, companies, services and job opportunities." The Prime Minister said: We must maintain the unity of the country and we have succeeded in this cooperation and support of citizens and continue this cooperation and unite against terrorism and residues so as not to be able to return again, while the officials in the government departments to work full powers and make the utmost effort to serve the sons Governorate ".
