    Concerned the French media, the demonstrations witnessed in central and southern Iraq , and followed the events from the city of Basra, which she described as the stronghold of Iraqi oil, to cut off the Internet service and the fall of a number of victims to the demonstrations in the capital Baghdad .

    The weekly magazine "Lubwa", which highlighted the arrival of demonstrations in Baghdad and the high number of victims of the demonstrators. 

    The newspaper said that "the demonstrations that started from southern Iraq, arrived in Baghdad near the Green Zone, the place of the Iraqi authorities, were dispersed hundreds of demonstrators with water hoses and tear gas as they tried to get closer to the region."
