    - A legal expert announced on Sunday that Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has appealed to articles in the House of Representatives Law of the Federal Court granting MPs "great financial privileges". He said that the MP can now obtain a pension even if his service " just one". 

    The legal expert Haider al-Sufi said in an interview with Alsumaria News that "Abbadi submitted, through his legal representative, to challenge the law of the House of Representatives and its composition," explaining that "he challenged a number of articles that included financial concessions are a large financial burden on the state and the State very high salaries "He said.




    Sufi added, "Previously, the retirement age of the deputy was the case of retirees," pointing out that "the salary of the pensioner, previously, was a person who has a job service in the state 15 years and the age of 50 years." 

    Al-Sufi stressed that "the parliament amended this paragraph, and the deputy can get the pension even if he has a service for one day only," pointing out that "the parliament, and within this law, granted paragraphs that allow the deputy to claim these rights legally." 

    Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced on Friday (July 20, 2018) his rejection of the law on the privileges of deputies approved by the parliament, while stressing the submission of an appeal, he pointed out that the law has financial implications. 

    The legal expert Tariq Harb, on Wednesday (18 July 2018) on the legislation of the House of Representatives a new law for the privileges of parliamentarians, pointing out that the Parliament took the law law months ago and was published in the Official Gazette only on July 16, 2018.
