    BAGHDAD / The head of the Federal Supreme Court Judge Medhat al-Mahmoud, during a meeting with Parliament Speaker Mohamed Halbusi, on Sunday, the legislative functions of the judiciary in the provisions of the Constitution.
    "Judge Medhat al-Mahmoud, president of the Federal Supreme Court, met in his office this morning Mohammed al-Halbusi, Speaker of the House of Representatives," court spokesman Iyas Samuk said in a statement.
    He added that "there was talk about coordination and exchange of views between the Council and the Federal Supreme Court on the legislative functions of the Council in light of the provisions of the Constitution and in the light of constitutional case law." Finished
