(Baghdad: al-Furat News), said political analyst Adnan al-Sarraj, on Sunday, that Prime Minister Haider Abadi knew the privileges of deputies, pointing out that his stab came because of the demonstrations.
"Al-Abadi was aware of the law, but he did not object to it at the time, and he is not entitled to appeal against it because it is older than the last parliamentary session," Al-Sarraj told the Al-Eufrat News news agency.
He added that "the high salaries paid by deputies are privileges in themselves and are not entitled to add service outside the law, in addition to the transfer of the law to the presidency of the Republic did not agree with the Council of Ministers."
He added that "the only competent government to legislate the law and not the parliament and the presidency of the Republic, and the House of Representatives is the head of the problems and could not provide a legislative body capable of the citizen," criticizing that "the House of Representatives acting was Iraq is living in a good way could he dismiss a minister or an official? The House of Representatives are not employees and in countries neighboring Iraq do not have pensions. "
