Basra oil and gas engineering students train in major international companies

The students of the Faculty of Engineering at Basra University of Petroleum and Gas started the summer internship in the major international oil companies.
"The students have started training in international oil companies such as Waldorf Oil Services, Schlumberger and Halliburton, with the aim of combining the academic side with the professional work side, in continuation of the approach of openness and communication between the university and the international oil companies," said summer training officer at the College of Oil and Gas Engineering Ali Khudair Kneher.
He added: "The students are trained theoretically and practically in the workshops of companies on the topics of maintenance, safety and field work and many details related to the oil sector, in accordance with their specialties to give them high efficiency in preparation for their integration into the labor market after graduation.
