    [rtl]Iraq is looking with Chinese and international railway companies to establish railway lines to link the Karbala-Najaf line with the 70-kilometer-long monorail train .[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The Director-General of the State Railways Company, Salam Jabr, met with the delegations of the Chinese railway companies, the China Railway Authority and the group of international companies specialized in the construction of railways.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]Jabr discussed with companies delegations ways to establish the projects of Salama-Basra, Yusifiyah-Musayyib-Karbala-Najaf-Samawah and Karbala-Najaf railway project for 70 kilometers to connect the two cities with the Monorail train .[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]In the middle of this month, the governor of Baghdad, during his meeting with the director of the French company Alstom operating in the field of transport in the Iraqi market, the intention of the local government to implement the train project suspended in the Iraqi capital .[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]Last week, the Iraqi National Investment Commission announced on Tuesday that it had put forward about 150 investment projects to be presented at the donor conference to support the reconstruction of Iraq, scheduled to be held in Kuwait on 12 February .[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The plan included the construction of the first railway (Baghdad - Basra - Umm Qasr), the length of 910 km, the capacity of about 14 million passengers, and the estimated cost of 13.73 billion dollars about 16.42 trillion dinars .[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]With the introduction of projects for the rehabilitation and duplication of other existing lines, in the lines between the capital Baghdad and other cities and provinces of Iraq, as well as projects for giant bridges and the construction of highways to reach the capital in the rest of the provinces .[/rtl]
