The Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi on Tuesday to prevent the supreme authority of the Shiite in Najaf, Ayatollah Ali al-SistaniCord to obtain independence from Iraq.

"We wish to accelerate the formation of the largest bloc leading a government that meets the demands of citizens and the interest of the country," he said, calling for "non-use of illegal and immoral means to pressure the candidates from the threat of extortion."
