(Reuters) - US President George W. Bush's envoy, Brett McGurk, told reporters on Twitter that he would meet with Fatah leader Hadi al-Amiri to discuss the details of the meeting.
Al-Amiri's office said in a statement that he met on Thursday evening in Macaghurk and discussed the formation of the Iraqi government.
According to the statement, Ameri refused US intervention to form the Iraqi government, and threatened to fall within two months to be able to intervene in Washington.
"This government will be counted as a puppet."
"Well, this meeting and many other meetings being talked about in Iraqi media in the last few days have never happened," he said.
And tagged MacGork as "false meetings".
In her turn, Hanan al-Fatlawi, the head of the unity bloc, commented on the American envoy's call to publish a picture of the meeting between McGowork and al-Amiri. She asked: What about this picture?
In the past few days, the American mediator, Brett McGurk, who has been in Iraq since the middle of this month, the commander of the Quds Force, Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, and his three aides, Erj Musjdi, Karim Rezai and Mahmoud Akbarzadeh, Shiites.
While Tehran supports both Nuri al-Maliki (the coalition of state law) and the leader of Badr Hadi al-Amiri (also leads the Fatah coalition), Washington is supporting, unauthorizedly, the second Shiite camp and its most prominent symbols, Haider Abadi, Ammar al-Hakim, Muqtada al-Sadr and Iyad Allawi.
So far, the first camp was able to collect less than 100 seats, and includes a coalition of the rule of law led by Nuri al-Maliki (26 seats), and led by Hadi al-Amiri (48 seats), and the will of Hanan al-Fatlawi (3 seats), and competencies led by Haitham Jubouri (two seats) , As well as small blocks that have won a seat or two seats in southern Iraq, as well as others said leaders in this camp that "took off their sale to slaves and wise and pledged to be with us."
