The alliance of victory "calls" to name the Great Bloc

BAGHDAD / The coalition of victory, led by Prime Minister Haider Abadi, Saturday, that the formation of the largest bloc must precede the nomination of its candidate for prime minister. The coalition said in a statement: "We emphasize the obligation to abide by constitutional provisions to determine the largest bloc, before the President of the Republic to mandate the candidate to form a government." He added that "any mandate for any candidate without the resolution of the largest bloc is an explicit constitutional violation, and based on it does not have legitimacy "The commitment to the constitution must be above all considerations and interests to ensure the legitimacy of the state's structures, powers and functions, and to ensure the safety of constitutional and democratic contexts in the country."
