A former deputy speaker of parliament, Salim al-Jubouri, is close to getting a ministerial portfolio, a deputy for the national axis said Sunday.
The Middle East quoted Mohammed Karbouli as saying that former parliament speaker Salim al-Jubouri "is approaching to get the portfolio of the Ministry of Defense."
He pointed out that "the Ministry of Education is still settled for the candidate of the Arab project Saba al-Tai, while the Ministry of Planning is still subject to controversy."
Fourteen ministers, including two ministers threatened with dismissal, are threatened by the parliament, threatening every government (including the missing) Abdul-Mahdi, including eight, if the remaining eight are not voted.
