"The visa service or eVisa will be available to citizens of the United States of America , all members of the Schengen region, Australia , Japan , South Korea, South Africa, Brunei, Malaysia , Singapore and Taiwan," Saudi Arabia said on its official website .

"More countries are likely to be added to the list," the website said. 

One of the advantages of obtaining eVisa in Saudi Arabia is not having to go to the embassy or consulate, send it to the traveler by e-mail, and only print a copy of the e-visa to be submitted to the Saudi authorities upon arrival.
