    Today, Thursday, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the approval of extending the visa for Iraqi pilgrims.

    The head of the Hajj and Umrah Authority said, in a speech delivered on his behalf by the administrative and financial agent Sharif Ahmed Abbas, during a press conference, that “the visit of the Saudi Minister of Hajj and his accompanying delegation is a precedent of Its kind and strengthens relations between the two countries and their keenness to maintain services for pilgrims through the cooperation of Hajj and Umrah companies and the presence of The facilities are from those in charge of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj.

    He added that "facilitations were provided, including the extension of the Umrah visa for a period of 3 months, which generated great satisfaction for the Umrah companies," noting that "the use of modern and advanced technologies in conjunction with mutual dependence will facilitate the procedures followed in the Hajj and Umrah files.”

    He stressed that "the authority is fully prepared to cooperate in all fields for the comfort of the Iraqi pilgrims and pilgrims and to provide the best services," noting that "Iraqis are flocking massively and since the beginning of the Umrah season, which started this year, as nearly 300,000 pilgrims have been registered to this day through airports by air and Arar port.” .

    He continued, "We will work to provide a lot of new and advanced services during the Hajj season, especially since there are millions of Iraqis flocking to perform the Hajj rituals."
