The head of the Integrity Committee in the Basra Governorate Council Mohammed al-Mansouri, on Tuesday, the decline in commercial traffic in Iraqi ports because of the conflict between the Border Ports Authority and the General Company of Iraqi ports to power.
Al-Mansouri said in a press statement that "the presence of two sonar at port gates, the first of the border ports and the second of the Iraqi ports caused the expulsion of investors and businesses, and thus the decline of trade."
He called on the Council of Representatives and related parties to "intervene to resolve such things within the Iraqi ports to facilitate the movement of trade."
