MP on the alliance Al-Fath Haneen al-Qaddu, Wednesday, that the political blocs in the House of Representatives has a growing sense of revisiting the strategic framework agreement concluded with the United States of America because of the concern of the Iraqis to increase the number of troops in the Iraqi military bases.
"The House of Representatives is determined to review the strategic framework agreement signed with the US side, because there is a growing sense among all political blocs on the amendment and cancellation."
"The issue of canceling the agreement in the present time depends on the opinion of the security leaders," he said, adding that "in the event of amendment we must set strict conditions in terms of determining the number of troops and their types and be moved according to the approval of the Iraqi military leadership."
The MP Walid al-Sahlani revealed a parliamentary approach to reconsider the terms of the Strategic Framework Agreement with the American side, especially after the victory against terrorism, noting that the House of Representatives has a tendency to make 2019 years of Iraqi sovereignty.
