    BAGHDAD / The local administration in Babel on Monday obtained the approval of the concerned authorities to restart the chlorine production plant after it stopped working for 10 years
    "The next few years will witness the re-operation of the chlorine production plant in Al-Sada area after a halt of more than 10 years," said governor of Babel Hassan al-Bayramani. "The laboratory will provide the Ministry of Health needs of disinfectants, The supply of chlorine and other electric power plants, as well as the supply of drinking water purification plants in the province of chlorine, which is currently suffering from the scarcity.
    He added that the province had held a workshop with one of the international organizations and came out with a number of recommendations, most notably the re-operation of the laboratory after addressing the concerned authorities, which was obtained approval for its operation again because it is one of the largest production of chlorine and is affiliated to the chemical company Euphrates located at the edge of Hindi . 
    Al-Bayramani pointed out that "the operation of the chlorine plant will drain the country from the import of this important material, which is used in sterilization of water and other uses of multiple, stressing that the province is working to run all the plants stopped and return to work again to revive Babylon economically and provide employment opportunities, provide many sums of money when importing these materials from outside the country, adding that the chlorine plant is one of three plants belonging to the Euphrates for the production of chemicals. finished 1
