BAGHDAD - The customs authority at the Taribil Border Customs Center announced on Wednesday the re-issuance of two saloon cars, one of which is American and the other Korean origin, to the Jordanian side.
The Customs Authority said in a statement that "customs clearance committees at the center seized on Tuesday, two cars and reissued as being damaged and forbidden to import," noting that "car owners tried to intimidate customs inspectors as new and unused."
"The Commission added that it" took legal action against them and re-issued in accordance with the instructions and controls in force. "
It is worth mentioning that the prevention of damaged cars came in accordance with the decision of the Council of Ministers / Economic Affairs Committee No. 435 in 2018/4/26 and the General Authority for Customs began its application as an executive body subject to the decisions and laws in force. Finished
