During the month of April, the Office of the Inspector-General of the Ministry of the Interior was able to re-order and prevent the waste of money totaling about 740 million dinars.
A financial report issued by the Directorate of Audit and Financial Control in the Interior Inspectorate for the month of April of 2019 states that "the Audit Inspection Committees managed during the month to return JD (130,555,444) to the State Treasury, and recommended the return of JD (504,927,981) (103,521,850) dinars.
The Directorate of Audit also managed to follow up the implementation of 25 contracts within the plan of the Ministry of investment, and 59 contracts within the operational plan, and followed the implementation of three contracts for the Fund for Martyrs Police and Health.
The Directorate showed its opinion in 72 investigative councils and 171 treatment received from the Directorate of Inspection. And formed during the month 8 audit bodies to follow up the financial position and account of the departments and joints of the ministry in Baghdad and the provinces.
