[size=45]The Islamic Dawa party said Monday that prominent party leaders, including Haider al-Abadi, participated in the party's general conference held in Karbala yesterday.
Nouri al-Maliki was re-elected Secretary-General of the party, amid talk of a boycott of the first-grade leaders, and the leak of other information about Abadi boycott of the conference, which issued a statement at the time stressed that "not occupy any leadership position of the party."
The leader of the party Hassan al-Sunaid, "The news, which talked about the boycott of senior leaders of the Dawa Party, the General Conference, is not true, the slaves and the relationship and Zuhairi, and others participated in the General Conference."
Al-Sanaid said that "all the attendees of the preachers, participated in all the votes, which got in the General Conference, and there is no boycott of any prominent figure, the conference at all."
