{International: Euphrates News} Residents of Ervin village in Alberta, southern Canada, were evacuated due to the threat of chemical contamination in the area after a train accident. According to CBC.
According to the channel, from 12 to 15 locomotive derailed. The cargo train was carrying flammable materials. The material type was not specified.
In the Cypress region, where Irvine is located, local authorities have declared a state of emergency. Due to the accident, part of the highway across Canada was closed.
The causes of the accident were not mentioned. Police officers and firefighters are working at the scene. Representatives of Pacific Pacific Railway sent their representatives.
About 300 people live in Irvine
