    Maybe, just maybe, the GOI and the CBI are telling the citizens things on Iraqi TV and on the large jumbo screens around the country that are not in print -  Has anyone thought about the fact that this information could be for the citizens to understand what is coming and educating them on their new currency.  Governments and central banks are not obligated to tell the world everything they are doing.  I am still hopeful that on Oct. 1 when the ISX goes live on the NASDAQ we will see a rate change - can't go live on NASDAQ at a program rate and penny stocks won't "cut it".

    no, and it is no surprise, they have been talking about needing more of these categories recently, however if these are the ones the are pumping into he hands of the locals, then it is far better then putting the 25000 and 50000 notes out there.

    I think that the citizens are turning in the 3-0 notes at the banks per the request of the central bank as they open their bank accounts and get their MasterCard and Visa cards, and also turning in any and all damaged lower notes - for new lower notes - that will be needed after the RV.  The 3-0 notes will be turned in when the RV happens in exchange for lower notes so that commerce can proceed without much interference.  Don't forget they have the new ATMs and when the RV happens, the software will be turned on/switched for the lower denoms.  They can buy gold from some of these machines - they need an increase in value in the currency for that to happen.  They have reported that the citizens can go to the banks to learn how to use the ATMs, and they have reported that they can wire internationally in REAL TIME - like we do, after the RV.  We are so close, Oct. 1 is just a few days away.
