Halbousi announces the launch of a project of 100,000 housing units and provide a million jobs in Iraq
Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halbousi announced on Saturday to stop the campaign to remove excesses until the provision of housing, while disclosing a project to build 100,000 housing units and low-cost in the provinces of Iraq, said that this project will provide a million jobs for the unemployed.
Halbousi said in a press conference held today with a number of deputies in the Council building, "We announce the immediate cessation of abuses until the state finds alternatives and provides the necessary allocations for the purpose of establishing at least 100 low-cost housing units will be distributed according to the proportion of population in the provinces."
He added that "this project will be launched now and will be coordinated with the Rafidain Bank and Rashid, indicating that this project will contribute to the return of displaced people in addition to providing a million jobs for the unemployed in Iraq.
On supporting the agricultural and industrial sector, Halbousi said that there are immediate measures to be taken in this area, exempting all farmers from rent allowances at the beginning of next year and stop importing the crops grown by the peasant Iraq.
As for the industrial sector, he said that we have 50,000 factories in Iraq stopped working will be coordinated with the Central Bank to grant soft loans to the owners of laboratories to return to work, stressing that these factories were covering the local market products and we did not import.
He pointed out that lending opens for the processing of the plant, which is a bank credit and will be coordinated with the Central Bank.
Halbousi said that the lecturers will be appointed to the owners, noting the approval of the Federal Service Council and vote on this Council and the removal of this important detail from any political interference.
He added that the appointments will be launched according to the Federal Service Council and will be given more opportunity for holders of higher degrees and an opportunity for former graduates.
