, The Friday Parliamentary Bloc issued a statement regarding Washington's imposition of sanctions against Iraqi figures.
The bloc said, in a statement received by / Mawazine News / a copy of it, that "we are following sources from the representative of the American Treasury against Iraqi names and personalities in a manner that reflects clear interference in Iraqi affairs under various pretexts and names."
She added, "We condemn these unilateral foreign accusations, as they consider this an explicit violation of national sovereignty, political actors, and internal affairs of Iraq."
The bloc continued: "We express our reservations regarding what has been proposed regarding some names, so this intended confusion cannot be dealt with without standing at those names, their roles and their political and parliamentary extensions."
And the mass of wisdom called on the media and public opinion to "be careful and impartial in dealing with these dangerous files and carry them on the objectivity and truth out of the political dimensions and settle the side accounts, and to stand a responsible national position on the basis of truth, honesty and objectivity".
