[size=18]A member of the House of Representatives revealed today, Wednesday, a meeting held by 150 deputies to reject any candidate to head the next government presented by the parties, while he indicated that the deputies will send a group of names for independent personalities as candidates for the position to President of the Republic Barham Saleh.

Deputy Al-Budeiri said in an interview with Alsumaria News that "more than 150 deputies will hold a meeting this afternoon, in order to agree on the form of a message to be sent to the President of the Republic."

Al-Badiri explained that this message includes the 150 categorical rejection of the candidates for nomination or a candidate nominated by the parties, or they have been working in the legislative or executive branches since 2003 until today.

Al-Badiri added that the deputies will work to send the names of a number of independent and remote candidates from the quota and those who meet the specifications of what the masses demand to the President of the Republic, and leave the option for him to choose the most appropriate of them.

A parliamentary source said in an earlier interview with Alsumaria News yesterday, Tuesday, that "the Construction Alliance sent an official book to President of the Republic Barham Salih, nominating Qusay al-Suhail's name to assign him to the prime minister."

It is noteworthy that the constitutional period to assign the President of the Republic, a new head of the next government after accepting Abdul-Mahdi's resignation, will end tomorrow, Thursday, December 19.

On November 30, Abdul-Mahdi officially submitted his resignation to Parliament, and indicated that his government will remain a caretaker government, including the prime minister and ministers, until the new government is formed.
