The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, received a phone call from King Salman bin Abdulaziz, after the American air attack on the locations of the Hezbollah Brigades in Iraq.
The Saudi news agency "SPA" reported that "King Salman discussed during the contact with Saleh the developments of events in the region," stressing "the Kingdom's concern for the security and stability of brotherly Iraq, the importance of calm and defusing the crisis in the region, and taking all measures to reduce tension in it."
For his part, Saleh expressed, according to the agency, "his thanks and appreciation to King Salman, and the Kingdom's interest in Iraq’s security and stability."
