The Information Office of the Prime Minister said in a press statement: "Abdel-Mahdi met, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Jenin Hennes- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , who expressed her condolences and those of the United Nations Secretary-General for Iraq and his support for its security and stability."
The Prime Minister clarified the position of the Iraqi government after the recent security developments, its message to the House of Representatives, and the Council's decision to withdraw foreign forces from Iraq.
