[rtl]Shafaq News / The United Kingdom condemned, on Thursday, the missile attack against the Kiwan military base in Kirkuk.[/rtl]
[rtl]"We strongly condemn the missile attack on Iraqi and coalition forces this evening in Kirkuk," said British Ambassador Stephen Hickey in a Twitter post.[/rtl]
[rtl]He noted that "it is necessary for the Iraqi government to take urgent measures to deter armed groups and hold them accountable for undermining the sovereignty of Iraq."[/rtl]
[rtl]On Thursday, the Security Media Cell issued a clarification regarding the details of the missile attack on Kiwan, a base in Kirkuk.[/rtl]
[rtl]The cell indicated in a statement to Shafak News that "a missile landed inside the K1 base in Kirkuk Governorate without any significant losses, and the security forces are conducting a search operation in search of the perpetrators."[/rtl]
[rtl]She added that the security forces "found a launching base carrying 11 missiles that had not been fired yet, and the seized materials were dealt with fundamentally."[/rtl]
