criticized Aswan Al-Chaldani, Wednesday, the marginalization of Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi for the Christian component in the government formation that he intends to present to Parliament, pointing out that Allawi refused to meet with Christian deputies.
And Al-Chaldani said, "Allawi did not heed the requests of the deputies of the Christian component demanding to meet him."
He pointed out, "The opinion of these deputies was not taken regarding the nomination of one of the sons of the component in one of the ministries."
Al-Chaldani considered that, "a great marginalization of an authentic component of the people", waving "non-participation and voting on the government formation and ministerial approach in the event of Allawi's insistence on marginalizing the components."
He added, "One of the candidates in the government formation is from the Christian component from those who are abroad, while the rest of the people want him to be the candidates from inside Iraq and know well about their suffering."
Al-Chaldani pointed out that "Christians are of Iraqi origin and have been present in Iraq for thousands of years," stressing that "the main components refuse to receive any Christian figure to a sovereign ministry that can provide them with services." Ended 29 / A 43
