a member of Parliament close to Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Allawi revealed on Saturday that Allawi's negotiations with the main political forces have stalled and he is finding it difficult for him and his government to obtain the confidence of Parliament.
A member of Parliament said, "Allawi is finding it difficult for him and his new government to gain the confidence of Parliament, especially as his understandings falter with the main political forces in the Parliament."
He stressed that, "despite the fact that Allawi made concessions regarding his government candidates to occupy the ministries as well as adding items to his government program, the differences were not resolved and there is a personal aspect of the dispute that is not afraid."
And Abizaid: "Also, political forces maintain their current proximity to certain political blocs and forces." Ended 29 / A 43
