    [size=18]The Kurdistan Regional Government affirmed, through a video conference held on Sunday, the need to reorganize expenditures to face the financial crisis, noting the importance of continued communication and coordination with the federal government in Al-Athamah, Baghdad.



    She said in a statement, Alsumaria News received, a copy of it, that the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masroor Barzani, supervised a special meeting to assess the economic situation and follow up the measures taken to combat the new Corona epidemic.

    She explained that the meeting, which was held through the video conferencing system (video conference) in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani and a number of specialized ministers, discussed the latest developments regarding the health situation and government plans taken to combat the Corona virus, and its effects on the economy of the Kurdistan Region amid the decline in oil prices Worldwide.







    The President of the Regional Government praised the efforts of the competent government institutions, which have done their utmost to maintain the safety and protection of citizens, and also stressed the importance of securing the daily needs of citizens, especially food.

    The meeting also discussed the nature of the work of the Food and Drug Committee, and the need to reorganize expenditures to meet the financial crisis was stressed.

    It was also indicated, according to the statement, the importance of continued communication and coordination with the federal government.
