Mladenov said in a statement that "the members of the new parliament to attend and start practicing their constitutional and work to allay fears of political, security, social and humanitarian of all communities in Iraq."
Miladinov added that "the first step and the most important to be taken at the next meeting elect a speaker and two deputies, and once you're done should be elected Parliament immediately as president and approve the new government as stipulated in the Constitution."
He warned of the Special Representative of "that any delay in this process, due to a lack of quorum be harmful to the future of the country, which faces a national crisis and should be on the Iraqi political leaders to put the interests of the country and its people above all."
