The head of the Kurdish negotiating delegation, Qubad Talabani, left the Federal Parliament building shortly after he held a meeting with his presidency, amid the collapse of negotiations between him and the Shiite blocs.
The correspondent of Al-Malouma Agency said that the agreement that was announced yesterday, Friday, between the Shiite parties (Al-Fateh and others) and the delegation of the Kurdistan region regarding the budget, was canceled amid the possibility of Kurdish blocs boycotting any session to vote on the draft law without an alternative agreement.
A little while ago, the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Bashir Al-Haddad, began a meeting with the Kurdish delegation headed by Qubad Talabani, to discuss the 2021 budget law and Article 11 related to the Kurdistan region’s share before Al-Halbousi joined the meeting. End / 25 h
