The Parliamentary Legal Committee called on the Presidency of Parliament to set an important precautionary condition during the voting process to dissolve Parliament in preparation for the upcoming elections.
Committee member Rashid Al-Azzawi confirmed in press statements that the condition is to restore the House of Representatives to its work in the event that elections cannot be held to ensure that the country does not enter a constitutional vacuum, indicating that there are signatures for more than half of the members to dissolve Parliament, and thus the legal and constitutional condition for dissolution has been met. That this paragraph be submitted to the vote and determine the time for holding the elections and dissolving Parliament before the date of the election maturity.
