    The provincial government delegation will return to Baghdad next week

    Deputy Speaker of Parliament Bashir Haddad expected that the problem which he described as small that appeared in the last moments in the agreement reached by the regional government with the federal government will be overcome.
    Haddad added in a statement followed by Al-Sabah Al-Jadid, “I am optimistic that the small problem that arose and obstructed the final agreement between Erbil and Baghdad will be overcome, and that led to the postponement of the Parliament session in which the vote on the draft federal budget bill was scheduled to take place.
    He explained that the problem was not between the Kurds and other parties. Rather, it was between the Shiite parties themselves that had demands that they sought to include in the budget law.   
    Haddad indicated that the agreement reached between the regional government and the federal government has not been canceled, but there are some problems and obstacles in the way of the budget law in general, given that every bloc and party wants by fixing some items and materials to satisfy its masses.    
    The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, had called in a statement on the occasion of Nowruz holidays, the federal government to fulfill its duties in implementing the full provisions of the constitution in order to establish security and achieve political and economic stability in Iraq.
    This comes after intensive marathon discussions conducted by the regional government delegation, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani, to install the region's share in the federal budget for 2021.
    The Presidency of the House of Representatives decided to postpone the vote on the draft budget law until next Saturday at one o'clock in the afternoon, “in view of the continuation of discussions on the draft budget law and to give the opportunity to the relevant committees for further review and scrutiny” after canceling the agreement that was reached yesterday, Friday, between the parties Shiite delegation and the Kurdistan region on the budget.
    Yesterday's agreement included the application of the Financial Management Law in the event that no party fulfills its obligations under the budget law, and the deduction of amounts to the extent that corresponds to the missing quantity of 250 thousand barrels of oil, which the Kurdistan Region must deliver to the SOMO Oil Marketing Company.
    And 180 thousand barrels for production and export costs and 20 thousand barrels for petrodollars, provided that the oil delivered by the region to SOMO is not less than 250 thousand barrels.
