A political deal to return the former director of Rafidain to his post
An informed source revealed that there were attempts and deals from political parties to return the former director of Al-Rafidain Bank, Hussein Ali Muheisen, accused of corruption to his post. The source indicated to the agency that "the former director of Rafidain is using his political influence with political parties to mediate with the Minister of Finance for his return to his position in the management of the Rafidain Bank." He explained, "Political pressure is being put on the Minister of Finance, Ali Allawi, in order to return the article (Muheisen) to his post, and he is accused of corruption and signing investment contracts and facilities with companies and destinations without guarantees, which caused great damage to Al-Rafidain Bank, as well as files and suspicions of corruption."
