Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Iraq is not a mediator, and its foreign policy is working to create opportunities for dialogue to enhance the stability of the region, while it revealed Iraqi efforts to strengthen the common market and economic integration in the region.
"Iraq is not a mediator, but the principle of its foreign policy is working to create opportunities for dialogue at the regional level to enhance security and stability," ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf said.
He added, "Iraqi policy pursues a balance between all parties, as the region's files are intertwined, and the regional situation requires strenuous efforts to link bridges of interests, agree on common rules in security and stability, and take on common opportunities, and there is an awareness of the challenges that are related to terrorism, the epidemic and its impact on the economy," indicating that "Iraq It works to support collective initiatives at the regional level and to promote the common market and economic integration. "
He pointed out that "the Foreign Ministry sees dialogue and coordination between all parties as two ways to defuse crises and move towards paths that end towards further strengthening relations and ties between the peoples of the region.
