Kurdish source revealed early on Saturday, taking over the President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani, the names of the candidates of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) for the presidency of the Republic.
[ltr]The source told all of Iraq [where] that "Barzani received the names of the candidates after the settlement of the dispute within the National Union party on the nom ination of both leadership and Barham Salih Najm al-Din cream on the presidency."[/ltr]
[ltr]He added that "so far there is no agreement within the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) on a candidate as president is scheduled to be agreed upon today or tomorrow."[/ltr]
[ltr]The source pointed out that "the leader of the Patriotic Union of Fuad Masum, is the favorite for the post, but until now does not have a final agreement on any candidate."[/ltr]
