The Central Bank of Iraq's sales fell on Tuesday to $215 million.
The central bank saw a 7.33% drop in sales to $215 million, $600,597, compared to Monday's sales of $232 million and $925,000, according to a Reporter for The Shafq News.
The purchases of $155 million, $760,000 and $597,000 went to boost overseas balances in the form of remittances and credits, while the remaining $59 million and $840,000 went in cash.
Our correspondent pointed out that 32 banks have met requests to strengthen assets abroad, 19 banks to meet cash orders, in addition to the participation of 21 exchange companies.
