{Economic: Al Furat News} The exchange rate of the dollar fell against the Iraqi dinar today, Wednesday, in the local markets.
And the selling prices of the dollar were 147.750 dinars per $100, and buying at 147.250 dinars per $100.
Economists say that the noticeable decline these days of the dollar is limited and the exchange rates are affected by supply and demand and do not exceed the limits of one dollar, in addition to the market's impact on political events and economic conditions.
On the other hand, the Central Bank of Iraq's dollar sales fell today, as the total in the foreign currency auction amounted to 201 million and 994 thousand and 380 dollars, after yesterday it amounted to 229 million dollars.
It is noteworthy that the Central Bank of Iraq decided on January 19 last to make a significant change in the dollar exchange rate, as follows:
1450 dinars per dollar, the purchase price of foreign currency from the Ministry of Finance.
1460 dinars per dollar, the price of selling foreign currency to banks.
1470 dinars per dollar, the price of selling foreign currency to the public.
