The American exploration mission arrives in Nasiriyah to complete its work procedures at the end of the year

{Local: Al Furat News} The director of the Dhi Qar Antiquities Inspectorate revealed that cadres from the American mission to the University of Pennsylvania have arrived in the province to complete the administrative procedures for the rest of the excavation mission.
The director of the Dhi Qar Antiquities Inspectorate, Amer Abdul Razzaq, said that "representatives of the American mission to the University of Pennsylvania arrived in the province to complete the procedures for the arrival of the entire mission, which is hoped to arrive at the end of this year."
He pointed out that "the mission is working on excavating the archaeological site of the Kingdom of Lagash, as well as working on training archaeological cadres working in the province."
