{Political: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Interior of the Kurdistan Regional Government issued today, Saturday, a clarification about a meeting held yesterday in Erbil under the title (Peace and Recovery).
And the ministry stated in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, that "the meeting was held without the knowledge, approval and participation of the regional government, and it does not express in any way the position of the Kurdistan Regional Government."
She added, "The necessary measures will be taken to follow up on how this meeting will be held."
Earlier in the day, Mr. Al-Hakim denounced the conferences, gatherings, and calls for normalization with the usurping Zionist entity that are being held inside Iraq, noting that the Palestinian issue represents the first Arab and Muslim issue.
The Iraqi government expressed its categorical rejection of the illegal meetings held by some tribal figures residing in the city of Erbil in the Kurdistan Region, by raising the slogan of normalization with Israel.
