, the winning candidate for the Civil Forces Alliance, Basem Khashan, confirmed on Tuesday that there is no political majority, while indicating that the government will be formed on the basis of a law that is contrary to the constitution.
Khashan said in an exclusive statement to "Mawazine News", that "there is no political majority without alliances," noting that "the government will be formed on the basis of elections that took place in accordance with a law that is contrary to the constitution."
Khashan added, "I do not know how the Federal Court will resolve the issue of appeals in this matter," adding, "We noticed during this month more than one challenge to the electoral law."
And the winning candidate continued, "We are used to a parliament that legislates laws that violate the constitution because of its limited constitutional awareness."
The Federal Supreme Court had earlier ruled the unconstitutionality of a number of phrases of Article 46 of the Parliament Elections Law. Ended 29 / b 88
